DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

APKWA respects intellectual property rights and expects its users and publishers to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar laws. Last updated: October 23, 2026.

Important: APKWA does not host app files. We list information and links to third-party sources. If you believe a file hosted elsewhere infringes your rights, you should also contact the website or host that stores the file. We can remove our listing and our link to it.

How to submit a takedown notice

Send an email to info@apkwa.com with the subject "DMCA Notice" containing all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (full legal name) as the copyright owner or person authorised to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (with proof of ownership or a link to the original where possible).
  3. The exact URL(s) on apkwa.com that contain the material or link you want removed.
  4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.

What we do

When we receive a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable the listing or link, notify the publisher who submitted it, and may share the notice (with your contact details) with that publisher. We may also forward notices to the relevant hosting provider.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to info@apkwa.com including: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the removed material and where it appeared; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; (4) your name, address and phone number; and (5) consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found) and acceptance of service of process from the person who filed the notice. After a valid counter-notice we will forward it to the complainant. If they do not notify us of a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringer policy

We terminate the accounts of publishers who are repeat infringers, and may remove any listing that we reasonably believe infringes.

Trademark and other complaints

For trademark, counterfeit, privacy or other legal complaints, email info@apkwa.com with the URL, your rights and the reason. We review these in good faith and act where required.
